Ingredients
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 bunch broccolini, broccoli rabe or chinese broccoli, trimmed cut into segments
- ½ lb Green Beans, trimmed
- 1/2 pound carrots, cut into large sticks, or segments
- 1/2 lb Brussel Sprouts, halved or quartered
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, optional
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce, optional
Cooking Instructions
1. Select a variety of vegetables.
2. Blanch veggies in salted boiling water for 30 sec to 3 minutes depending on vegetable density. Remove to a cooling rack. Let cool until they stop steaming.
3. In batches: Heat about 1 Tbsp of oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add some veggies. Sauté for a couple of minutes until the desired doneness, and starting to golden, Add the ginger and garlic, cook for another minute, and finish with aromatics and/or vinegar or soy. Add salt and pepper to taste.
