Granola kof

  • 5 cups Steel cut oats
  • 1 ½ cups Crushed raw almonds
  • 1 cup Raw sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup Raw sesame seeds
  • 1 cup Unsweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ cup Raw honey or Pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp Salt

Cooking Instructions

In a large bowl mix together all the dry ingredients, except the nuts. Whisk the honey and/or syrup, oil. And salt until well blended. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix until all is lightly sticky.

Spread in a large baking sheet (or two) and bake at 225 degrees for 3 ½ hours. Add in the nuts and dried fruit, if using. Stir and return to the oven for another 30 minutes. If you are not sure of your oven temperature, check in two hours instead of three.

Turn off oven and leave granola in oven for 4 hours or overnight. When granola is completely cool store in an airtight container in a cool place.
